Why Don’t They Do What We Want Them to Do?
Creating a strong quality culture is not only about having the right procedures and systems in place, but also about understanding the human behaviour behind them. Why do people sometimes not follow the desired way of working, even when expectations are clear?
During this session, our speaker Henrieke de Bie will take us into the behavioural side of quality management. We will explore what drives or inhibits behaviour and how factors such as competences, motivation, resistance and the working environment play a role. Using a practical behaviour change model and real-life examples, we will look at how behavioural insights can be translated into effective interventions that support a stronger quality culture and help make desired behaviours part of everyday working practices.
